Formerly Janakpur Engineering College (JEC)Affiliated to Tribhuvan University

Until when can I change my BE programme after admission?

Until 5 November, when Unique IOE Roll Numbers are issued. After that the programme on your roll number is the one you graduate in. Full Fee to Regular remains possible.

Programme change ends on the day roll numbers are issued. Be admitted by 2 November at 17:00 and your Unique IOE Roll Number is issued on 5 November, and that same date closes programme change.

2 November, 17:00
Cut-off to be admitted and counted in the main round
5 November
Roll numbers issued. Programme change ends
After 5 November
Full Fee to Regular transfer is still allowed
16 November
First year classes begin

Why the date matters more than it looks

Students who took a seat in a programme they did not really want, intending to switch once inside, have until then. Afterwards the programme on the roll number is the programme on the degree. If you are sitting on that decision, make it in October rather than December.

Full Fee to Regular stays open

If a Regular seat falls vacant in your own programme, that transfer is still available after 5 November, so it is worth asking your campus periodically rather than assuming the door has closed.
