The college wishes every student, family, teacher and staff member a joyful Vijayadashami. Its notice of 15 October also says the college administration stays closed from Fulpati, Saturday 17 October, to Kojagrat Purnima, Sunday 25 October. The notice does not name a reopening day, so if anything depends on it, ring 01-5091616 and we will tell you.
IOE’s Examination Control Division has fixed the centres for the Kartik 2083 back exams, notice 15920 of 12 October. Examinees of Janakpur Engineering College, which is how IOE still lists us, sit at Pulchowk Campus, the Pulchowk centre, for the written papers in the routine, 29 October to 30 November. The note under the table says no examinee may change centre. Find your own page for the day and the hour, plan the trip to Pulchowk, and ring 01-5091616 if anything is unclear.
This card first said IOE’s Kartik 2083 back routine, notice 15492, was second year II part only, with every paper at 7:00 am. We had read the one page IOE shows on the notice. The full routine is a seven-page PDF linked beneath it. Practicals and the third year II part minor project viva are dated 26 to 28 October, written papers 29 October to 30 November, and three of the seven pages start at 1:00 pm. Find your own page before you plan.
The Principal signed a notice on 16 September confirming that regular classes for every student admitted to B.E. First Year, First Semester for session 2083 run from 1 Mangsir 2083, which is 16 November 2026. That is the date IOE’s own calendar already carried, so nothing has moved. What is new is that it is now the college’s written commitment to its own intake, on letterhead and signed. The notice names the day and not an hour, so ring 01-5091616 nearer the time for your reporting hour and your section.
Notice 15878 of 8 October is the re-totalling decision for the MSc I Year II Part 2083 Baisakh results published up to 11 September: nobody’s marks changed and every result stands as published. That covers the sixth phase of 7 September and the MSStE result of 11 September. Notice 15354 of 16 September said the same for the results up to 31 August. Every re-totalling window on this card has closed: the 7 September results were due at a campus by 14 September and the MSStE result by 18 September.
Admission from the third merit list closed at 3:00 pm on 8 September, and that closed the centrally scheduled part of IOE 2083 admission. Three routes to a seat remain inside the same procedure, and none of them is a favour anybody grants you: a fourth or later list on each campus’s own published timetable, extra applications a campus may invite alongside a list, and seats that fall vacant, which can be filled up to 2 December (2083 Mangsir 17). All three still fill strictly in entrance rank order and all three still record you on the central portal. Bring us your rank on any day inside that window and we will read it against where each programme has actually closed, even when the honest answer sends you to another college.
Read this before you go to any counter. The three central lists are finished, and admission from the third ran to 3:00 pm on 8 September, but this rule outlives them: it applies to every fourth and later list a campus publishes, and to a vacant seat filled as late as 2 December. The gap between one list and the next is exactly when students take a safe seat and then watch their first choice appear on the next one. Switching is allowed, but the order matters: IOE will not admit you anywhere new until the earlier admission is formally cancelled, and cancelling costs money.
On 20 August the Examination Control Division published one notice that covers what the last fortnight covered a programme at a time: transcripts have been sent for students of all programmes who passed the Bachelor first, second, third and fourth year first-part examinations held in Baisakh 2083. If you were waiting for your own programme to be named, it now is.
