The merit award
There is no separate scholarship to apply for
The award is built into the published fee. A stronger IOE entrance rank puts you in a lower band, and the amount shown for your band is the amount you pay. That is the whole scheme.
We publish it this way on purpose. A percentage promised against an unpublished fee is not a number a family can plan around, and it puts every applicant in the position of wondering whether somebody else got a better deal. Two students with the same rank pay the same fee here, and both of them can check that on this page.

Are the hostel and the bus really free?
Yes, for enrolled students, in every band, with no separate charge. The hostel is on the Tathali campus and the college bus runs a daily route from Koteshwor. Ask us to confirm both in writing before you commit to anything — you should be doing that with every college you are considering.
Can the fee change after I join?
The band price for your intake is what you pay. Ask for the signed sheet, ask specifically whether anything depends on your results after you enrol, and keep that copy.
Can I pay in instalments?
Nobody pays this in one piece. Ask for the payment schedule: the enrollment amount, the instalment dates, accepted methods, and what happens if a date is missed.
Do I have to apply for a scholarship separately?
Not for the rank-based part. That award is already inside the published amount, because a stronger entrance rank places you in a lower band, and there is no form and no slot to compete for. There is a second award assessed individually on your +2 aggregate, and that one you do have to raise: ask the admissions office, and whatever is agreed goes on the signed fee sheet before you pay anything.
Where do I start admission after checking the fee?
How much does a BE actually cost in Nepal?At an IOE constituent campus, about Rs 63,087 for four years on a Regular seat and about Rs 5,45,832 on a Full Fee seat, with Rs 2,16,470 payable on the first day of a Full Fee admission.
What scholarships does IOE give its own students?Five separate provisions at constituent campuses, sized as percentages of each programme’s regular student count: 25% on merit from TU, 20% free tuition, 15% and 10% funded from the full-fee side, and 25% of full-fee students.
