What that one number already covers
A better rank means a lower fee. Same rank, same fee, for everyone, with no separate scholarship form to fill in. If your +2 aggregate was strong, there is a further award assessed individually on top of that, so ask us before you treat the band amount as your final number.
Hostel and the daily bus from Koteshwor are inside the figure rather than beside it. For a household outside the valley those two are worth more than the discount, which is why they are written as money in the table above and not as a badge.

The fee on letterheadSigned and dated, for your programme and your rank. Keep the copy. A college that will not put its fee in writing is telling you something.
The payment scheduleThe enrollment amount, the instalment dates across eight semesters, accepted methods, and what happens if a date slips. Nobody pays this in one piece.
What sits outside itUniversity registration and examination charges are set by TU and billed separately. Ask for that list too, and compare it alongside the headline figure.

The merit award
There is no separate scholarship to apply for
The award is built into the published fee. A stronger IOE entrance rank puts you in a lower band, and the amount shown for your band is the amount you pay. That is the whole scheme.
We publish it this way on purpose. A percentage promised against an unpublished fee is not a number a family can plan around, and it puts every applicant in the position of wondering whether somebody else got a better deal. Two students with the same rank pay the same fee here, and both of them can check that on this page.

What is the total across the eight semesters?Total for the full four-year BE programme (eight semesters). The figure on this page for your band is that whole amount, not a yearly charge, and it is the same for every student in the same band.
Can the amount change after I enrol?The band price for your intake is what you pay. Get it on the signed, dated fee sheet before any money moves, and keep that copy. That sheet is the version you can hold us to.
Does the amount move if results dip after enrolment?This college publishes no rule on that, so this page will not state one. Ask the admissions office to write on the fee sheet whether any part of your amount depends on results after you enrol, and keep that answer in writing.Ask for this in writing. We do not publish it.

Are the hostel and the bus really free?
Yes, for enrolled students, in every band, with no separate charge. The hostel is on the Tathali campus and the college bus runs a daily route from Koteshwor. Ask us to confirm both in writing before you commit to anything — you should be doing that with every college you are considering.
Do I have to apply for a scholarship separately?
Not for the rank-based part. That award is already inside the published amount, because a stronger entrance rank places you in a lower band, and there is no form and no slot to compete for. There is a second award assessed individually on your +2 aggregate, and that one you do have to raise: ask the admissions office, and whatever is agreed goes on the signed fee sheet before you pay anything.
Where do I start admission after checking the fee?
What is the difference between an IOE Regular and Full Fee seat?Regular seats are heavily subsidised and allocated on merit; Full Fee seats cost roughly nine times as much for the same degree. Only 630 of the 2,040 seats at IOE's five constituent campuses are Regular.
How much does a BE actually cost in Nepal?At an IOE constituent campus, about Rs 63,087 for four years on a Regular seat and about Rs 5,45,832 on a Full Fee seat, with Rs 2,16,470 payable on the first day of a Full Fee admission.
What scholarships does IOE give its own students?Five separate provisions at constituent campuses, sized as percentages of each programme's regular student count: 25% on merit from TU, 20% free tuition, 15% and 10% funded from the full-fee side, and 25% of full-fee students.
