What can I do if my IOE admission list entry is wrong?

Every merit list has a published complaint window of 11:00 to 14:00 on the day it appears, with a revised list by 18:00. It is the only fast route to a correction.

There is a formal complaint hour at every list, and most candidates do not know it exists. Complaints are heard from 11:00 to 14:00 on the day the list is published, and a revised list is issued by 18:00 the same day.

If the campus does not hear it fairly

The procedure allows you to petition the Centralized Admission Monitoring Committee directly, with evidence, inside the admission period. Do it inside the period. Afterwards there is no mechanism.

What is worth complaining about

  • Your rank is recorded wrongly.
  • Your priority order does not match what you submitted, which is why written confirmation matters.
  • You appear against the wrong programme, or the wrong seat pool, Regular versus Full Fee.
  • You are absent from a list your rank should have reached.

Bring paper

Your entrance scorecard, your submitted priority order, and the campus’s written confirmation of it. A complaint without documents inside a three-hour window is unlikely to go anywhere.
