Where does IOE publish the entrance result and the merit list?

Both on entrance.ioe.edu.np. Campus and college admission then runs on a separate portal, admission.ioe.edu.np, and confusing the two is the usual cause of panic.

The result and the merit list are published by the Entrance Examination Board on its own website. Admission to campuses and colleges then runs on a different portal entirely, and students regularly look for one on the other.

How the merit list is built

IOE’s Academic Council sets a minimum percentage of the total marks. Candidates at or above that minimum are placed in the merit list in order of marks. That list is what every later allocation runs on, at the five constituent campuses and at all ten affiliated private colleges alike.

The step people skip

Passing the entrance and appearing on the merit list is not admission. After you enrol, check that your name is recorded on the central admission portal. A campus that fails to record you there leaves you not admitted, and the published procedure places that responsibility on the campus rather than on you. Check it yourself instead of taking the office’s word for it.

For the 2083 cycle the online application ran 2083 Asar 23 at 10:00 to 2083 Shrawan 1 at 17:00, and the BE/B.Arch entrance result 2083 was published on 4 August 2026. The 2084 equivalents appear on the same two portals.
