How do I download my IOE entrance score card?
From entrance.ioe.edu.np, using your last name, your date of birth and your identification number. IOE allows one month from the date the result was published, after which the score card is no longer available.
The score card is the only place your own entrance marks are published. The pass list IOE puts out carries a rank and no marks at all, so this is the document that tells you what you actually scored. You download it from entrance.ioe.edu.np, from the Score Card panel on the home page, by giving three things: your last name, your date of birth in either Bikram Sambat or AD, and your identification number. There is a deadline, and it is short. The Office of the Dean’s result notice states that the score card must be downloaded from the website within one month of the date the result was published, and that it will not be available after that. For the 2083 cycle the result went up on 4 August 2026, and the portal carried the matching line: “Score Card will be available only till 19th Bhadra 2083”, which is 4 September 2026.
Why the score card matters more than it looks
IOE publishes the result as a pass list in alphabetical order with seven columns: serial number, form number, name, gender, district, rank and remarks. No score, no percentage, no subject breakdown. Everything downstream runs on the rank rather than the marks, so for most purposes the rank is enough.
The score card is what you need when the rank is not enough. It is your own record of the marks behind that rank, it is the only official statement of them, and once the window closes there is no second route to it. Treat it the way you would treat a certificate rather than a receipt.
The three fields the lookup asks for
Last name. The surname as it was entered on your entrance application, which is also the name the published pass list alphabetises you under.
Date of birth. The form accepts either Bikram Sambat or AD, chosen with a toggle, so you do not have to convert it yourself.
Identification number. The number issued with your entrance registration, not your citizenship or NEB symbol number.
None of that is a password, and the site sets no account. If any one of the three does not match what IOE holds, the lookup simply does not return a card.
One month, and then it is gone
The rule comes from the result-publication notice itself, signed by the Chairperson of the Entrance Examination Board: the score card must be downloaded within one month of the date the result was published, and after that it will not be available. That is a rule about the document, not about your result, and nothing in it affects your rank or your place on the pass list.
The two independent statements of that deadline agree exactly for the 2083 cycle. The notice is dated 2083/04/19, which is 4 August 2026; one month later in Bikram Sambat is 2083/05/19, and the portal prints “till 19th Bhadra 2083” on the Score Card panel. Both land on 4 September 2026. Download the PDF, then keep a copy somewhere that is not the portal.
What if you have missed the window?
The notice says plainly that the score card will not be available afterwards, and the portal offers no alternative route to it. What survives is the published pass list, which stays online as a PDF and carries your form number, your name and your rank. Since campus and college admission runs on rank rather than on marks, that is the document almost every later step actually asks about.
