Purbanchal University's rule for the whole system: One centralised entrance examination run by the Faculty of Engineering for every constituent and affiliated college, on one date, at centres the faculty assigns5. Its portal is entrance.puexam.edu.np.

• Its own site claims affiliation to Purbanchal University and to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training together, which no other source records, and gives 80 seats each for Civil and Electrical where the university gives 96 and 48.4
• Its 2083 candidates sat the entrance at Shree College of Technology, Chitwan, rather than at the college itself.3
• The only Purbanchal-affiliated engineering college in Chitwan. Two more sit in the same district under other universities, which makes Bharatpur one of the few towns outside the Kathmandu Valley with a choice of engineering colleges.1
