Tribhuvan University's rule for the whole system: One centralised computer-based entrance examination run by the IOE Entrance Examination Board, admitting to every constituent campus and every affiliated college on a single merit list2. Its portal is entrance.ioe.edu.np.

Recognition

The Nepal Engineering Council first approved this college on 4 Bhadra 2064 BS1.

The University Grants Commission accredited it on 2 February 20243, on a term dated to run to 1 February 2029.

What the sources also say

• Its own admissions page lists six undergraduate programmes and includes Electrical Engineering, which the Institute of Engineering booklet does not give this campus. The booklet lists seven and includes Industrial and Automobile, which the campus page leaves out.4
• The masthead on every page reads "Quality Education Since 1930 A.D." while the description on those same pages says the campus has taught since 1972, so it publishes two founding years about itself.5
• It is the only institution in this record teaching Industrial Engineering at bachelor level, with 12 Regular and 36 Full Fee places, and one of two teaching Automobile Engineering.2
• The University Grants Commission accredited it on 2 February 2024 on a term dated to 2029, the only Institute of Engineering campus whose accreditation term still had time left on it when this record was written.3
• Its master's admissions run on a separate site of their own rather than through the campus site, which is where its postgraduate results and entrance notices are published.5
