  • It dates itself to Poush 2034 BS (1977) under a development loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank, followed by a technical-assistance agreement with the United Kingdom in Shrawan 2035 BS and main construction finished in 2043 BS.3
  • Bachelor teaching began in 2057 BS (2000) with Agricultural Engineering, which the campus describes as the first programme of its kind in Nepal. Civil followed in 2061 BS (2004) and master's teaching in 2074 BS (2017).3
