What the sources also say

  • It publishes an account of its own fee policy: a rank-based scheme begun in 2023 under which the top ten per cent of admitted students pay the Institute of Engineering Regular fee, the rate a constituent campus charges.4
  • In the same account it gives its own numbers: 36 per cent of the 2080 batch and 20 per cent of the 2081 batch admitted at the Regular rate, against Regular fees of NPR 56,700 and NPR 59,725 and full fees of NPR 490,000 and NPR 519,800 for those two years.4
  • It claims other Tribhuvan-affiliated colleges began adopting the same rank-based structure from 2024, and calls the competition that followed sometimes unhealthy. No source outside the college states this.4
  • From the 2081 intake one student in each programme receives a stipend of up to NRs 400,000 over four years, paid as NRs 10,000 a month.3
  • Its fee page is a calculator that asks for an Institute of Engineering rank rather than a table, so what the college publishes is a method and not a price.3
