What the sources also say

  • Its admissions page compares six undergraduate programmes in one table, with seats, duration, entrance route and eligibility on each. Its four Institute of Engineering programmes carry the same seat counts as the booklet.4
  • Its scholarship scheme sets Institute of Engineering rank cut-offs separately for men and women in each programme, so a woman and a man at the same rank in Civil Engineering can fall in different fee bands.6
  • The top five per cent of each programme's admitted students pay the Institute of Engineering Regular fee and the next five per cent pay it for one semester. Both awards stop the moment a student fails a semester.6
  • It publishes award values and rank cut-offs without publishing a tuition figure anywhere, so a discount of Rs 25,000 is quoted against a number the reader cannot see.6
  • The University Grants Commission accredited it on 26 March 2026 on a term dated to 2031, and nothing on its own site mentions that. A college can under-claim as well as over-claim.3
