What merging keeps, and what it drops. Pages, their content, their size and their rotation all carry over exactly. Form fields, bookmarks, attachments and digital signatures do not survive a merge — a signature in particular is a statement about one specific file, so combining it with others necessarily invalidates it. That is how PDF works, not a limit of this page.
Why this one does not upload your file
Search for a PDF merger and every result asks you to upload. That is a reasonable way to build one — the work is easier on a server — but it means a copy of your document sits on someone else's machine, for a retention period you are trusting a policy page about. For a citizenship scan, a mark sheet or a signed contract, that is a real decision and nobody presents it as one.
This page does the work in your browser instead. The engine is JavaScript that runs on your device; once the page has loaded there is no server involved at all. You do not have to take that on faith — open your browser's network tab, merge something, and watch nothing leave.
Order is the whole job
Merging is trivial; getting the order right is not. Files arrive from a phone named IMG_0421 and Scan 3, and the alphabetical order your file picker uses is rarely the order you want. The list above is the order the merge will use, and the arrows move a file within it.
The page count is read, not guessed
Each file is opened as you add it, so the count beside it is the real one and a damaged or password-protected file is caught immediately rather than halfway through a merge. A protected file cannot be merged at all until the password is removed in a PDF reader — this page will not attempt to get past it.

- Yes. Every Kaamko tool is free, with no sign-up, no account and no usage limit. They are published by Imperial College of Engineering, a Tribhuvan University-affiliated engineering college in Tathali, Bhaktapur, and are not funded by advertising.
- Does what I type get sent anywhere?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser: the calculation happens on your own device, nothing you type is uploaded, and nothing is stored after you close the page.
- Where do the figures come from?
- Each tool names its source on the page, along with the date that source was read. Where a rate or a slab is provisional — announced in a budget speech but not yet gazetted, for instance — the page says so rather than presenting it as settled.
